用料

做法

  • Grease a ovenproof dish . Bread: cut the crusts off Butter & marmalade / jam cut diagnoally.

  • In the dish: Arrange a layer of bread ( buttered-side up) Sprinkle with raisins/sultanas . Repeat

  • In a bowl: Whisk 2 eggs& 2tbsp caster sugar (Warm) 350ml milk & 50ml cream: & 1tsp vanilla essence (nutmeg & cinnamon & alcohol) ：stir well

  • Pour the custard over the bread: gently press down--soak. Sprinkle with 1tbsp Demerara sugar leave for 30 minutes.

  • oven -180°C: 30-40 minutes custard set & top golden-brown. Serve with  more custard or ice cream.
